HB 3020 requires the Texas Department of State Health Services to issue statewide standing orders for public and private schools to stock epinephrine auto-injectors, respiratory distress medication, and opioid antagonists. These standing orders will allow schools to administer these medications without requiring a patient-specific prescription.
