HB 3160 requires public schools and libraries to adopt an Internet safety and technology protection policy to ensure student access to online resources is compliant with federal law. Vendors of online instructional materials must certify compliance with laws prohibiting the transfer of obscene materials to minors. Schools and libraries must establish a public complaint process, publish an annual report on complaints received, and comply with reporting requirements to remain eligible for state funding​.
