Digest
HB 3270 expands the periods during which retail fireworks permit holders may sell fireworks to the public. It adds new sales periods around Texas Independence Day (March 2), San Jacinto Day (April 21), and Diwali. The bill also removes a restriction that previously limited sales during Cinco de Mayo to locations within 100 miles of the Texas-Mexico border.
