HB 332 amends Section 63.0101(a) of the Texas Election Code to expand the list of acceptable forms of photo identification for voting. The bill allows voters to present a wider variety of IDs, including official Native American identification cards, identification cards from public or private institutions of higher education in Texas, and state-issued identification cards containing a photograph.
