Municipalities may also require structured sober living homes to provide residents with written notice of the home’s location, name, and ownership details, maintain supervision during all hours of operation, and implement an operational plan covering property maintenance, noise abatement, and discharge planning. Municipalities may exempt homes with adequate oversight from other government entities from these standards.
