HB 3427 prohibits political subdivisions from adopting or enforcing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) policies that promote differential treatment based on race, sex, color, or ethnicity. It also bars local governments from requiring employees to attend DEI-related training. Individuals can sue to block enforcement of DEI policies, and violators may lose access to state grant funds for two years.
