HB 3605 introduces a franchise tax credit for businesses employing apprentices in broadband utility construction. Eligible businesses can receive a $5,000 tax credit per apprentice, with a total statewide cap of $10 million per biennium. The credit can be carried forward for up to five years or sold to another entity.
