HB 4118 amends the Crime Victims’ Compensation Act to require the Texas Attorney General to award compensation to crime victims or claimants for any copays paid for health care services related to criminally injurious conduct. The compensation must be provided within 10 days of an application’s submission. This change applies to claims filed on or after the bill’s effective date.
