HB 4347 modifies tuition exemptions for dependents of military personnel and veterans at public institutions of higher education. It allows active-duty personnel (who would otherwise be eligible but have not been honorably discharged) to transfer unused credit hours to their children. Additionally, it permits the deceased service member’s spouse or guardian to assign the exemption to a dependent child​.
