HB 4410 establishes new Medicaid reimbursement rates for ground ambulance services. It mandates that the base rates paid to providers for these services be at least 40% of the Medicare reimbursement rate for similar services originating in rural areas. It also requires Medicaid managed care organizations to reimburse ambulance providers at the full Medicare rate and includes an annual 3% increase to the reimbursement rate.
