HB 4436 expands the lawful use of unmanned aircraft (drones) for news-gathering purposes. It allows radio and television stations, newspapers, and other news organizations to capture aerial images using drones, provided the individuals recorded were not in a place where they had a reasonable expectation of privacy​.
