HB 4571 eliminates redundant financial reporting requirements for school districts and charter schools. It repeals a requirement for school districts to publish annual financial statements in newspapers and instead mandates that charter schools make financial statements available online. The bill also repeals Education Code Section 31.105(c), which is related to textbook funding reporting​.
