HB 4793 establishes an advisory committee within the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement to provide recommendations on active shooter response training for peace officers. The committee will review and suggest improvements to existing training programs, including those developed by the Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training Center at Texas State University.
