HB 532 amends Section 12.1058 of the Texas Education Code, subjecting open-enrollment charter schools and their officers, employees, and governing body members to the same restrictions on travel expenses as state agencies under Section 660.093 of the Texas Government Code. This would apply irrespective of whether state funds are used for travel reimbursement.
