HB 702 requires transportation network companies, such as ridesharing platforms, to notify drivers and passengers when the start or endpoint of a ride involves entering a designated bicycle lane. The notification must advise both parties to be alert for bicyclists. The provisions apply to rides accepted after the law’s effective date of September 1, 2025.
