HB 747 directs the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners to adopt the 2015 edition of the International Plumbing Code as the standard plumbing code for the state. Municipalities and public water system owners may amend the code to address local concerns, provided amendments do not conflict with state law or board rules. The changes will be effective September 1, 2025.
