HB 751 permits the Texas Department of Insurance and the Office of Public Insurance Counsel to accept gifts, grants, and donations to fund employee education and training. Funds can be used for training related to insurance products, services, or other topics assisting these offices in fulfilling their duties. The Act takes effect immediately upon sufficient legislative approval or otherwise on September 1, 2025.
