HB 794 limits the enforcement of occupational regulations to those necessary for public health, safety, or welfare. It requires state licensing authorities to review existing regulations by September 1, 2026, and repeal or amend any deemed unnecessarily restrictive. It also allows individuals to petition for the repeal or modification of regulations and provides injunctive relief for overly burdensome rules. The Act takes effect September 1, 2025​.
