HB 808 creates new criminal offenses related to firearm sales at gun shows. It requires background checks for all firearm transactions conducted at gun shows and mandates that gun show promoters provide prior notice to local law enforcement, post compliance notices, and facilitate background checks for non-licensed dealer sales. Noncompliance results in Class A misdemeanors. The Act applies to gun shows held on or after October 1, 2025, and takes effect September 1, 2025.
