HB 907 requires public or nonprofit hospitals that provide clinical education to students, interns, residents, and fellows enrolled in medical or dental programs to offer these individuals at least six consecutive hours of leave annually to undergo a comprehensive health examination. The hospitals must also offer to provide the examination at no charge and cannot reduce compensation for leave taken for this purpose. The provisions apply only to contracts entered into on or after September 1, 2025.
