HB 934 introduces eligibility requirements for voting in primary elections for certain political parties. To vote in a primary of the specified party, an individual must have voted in that party’s primary within the last two years, obtained an affiliation certificate, or be under the age of 21. This applies only to parties whose gubernatorial candidate has won at least seven of the last ten gubernatorial elections, adding new qualifications for voter participation in primary elections.
