HB 935 introduces term limits and mandatory performance reviews for executive heads of state agencies and their direct reports. It restricts the duration of service for these positions to a maximum of 10 years. Additionally, it requires that individuals in these roles undergo performance reviews at least once after five years of service to determine whether their employment should continue. The law applies only to contracts entered into on or after September 1, 2025.
