HJR 95 proposes a constitutional amendment imposing term limits for service in the Texas Legislature, executive offices, and state employment. It sets specific limits on the number of regular legislative sessions an individual can serve and restricts total years of service in legislative or executive branch positions to 24 years. Service before 2027 is not counted towards these limits​.
