SB 1452 mandates that municipal management districts hold continuation elections every ten years to determine whether they should remain in existence. If a majority of voters do not favor continuation, the district must be dissolved, except where outstanding bonded indebtedness exists. The bill also establishes procedures for managing remaining financial obligations before dissolution​.
