Digest
SB 1805 modifies the rules for early voting by personal appearance. It reduces the population threshold for counties required to provide extended early voting hours from 55,000 to 10,000 residents. Counties meeting this threshold must provide at least 12 hours of early voting per weekday during the last week of early voting. The bill also clarifies weekend early voting hours, requiring at least 12 hours on the last Saturday and at least 6 hours on the last Sunday of early voting. These changes apply to elections beginning on or after September 1, 2025.
