SB 187 requires public institutions of higher education to create mechanisms for reporting and addressing discrimination and harassment based on race, color, or ethnicity. Institutions must provide an online and hotline complaint submission system, allow anonymous reporting, and inform students annually about anti-discrimination policies, complaint processes, and statistics on such incidents.
