SB 1943 expands Sunset Advisory Commission reviews of state agencies by requiring public input at the beginning of each agency review process. Agencies under review must notify regulated individuals and publish public participation notices on their websites. The bill also mandates an additional limited review of regulatory agencies' rulemaking every six years and requires efficiency audits of state agencies to evaluate cost-effectiveness, resource use, and duplication of programs​.
