SB 2313 proposes to amend the Insurance Code to require health benefit plans that provide coverage for prescription contraceptive devices to also cover evidence-based anxiety and pain management related to the insertion or removal of such devices. The bill specifies that the requirement would apply to health benefit plans delivered, issued, or renewed on or after January 1, 2026.
