SB 2776 seeks to amend the Human Resources Code to allow the Texas Juvenile Justice Department to disclose information about former juvenile offenders who have been discharged from commitment, are at least 18 years old, and have provided consent for disclosure. The disclosed information must be limited to the purpose specified by the individual and must not include details beyond what was agreed upon.
