SB 492 establishes the Task Force on Concrete Plants to study the effects of air and noise pollution caused by concrete batch and crushing plants. The task force will consult with experts, develop recommendations for legislation, and identify best practices for pollution reduction. It will submit a report to state leaders by December 1, 2026, and is set to expire on January 1, 2027.
