SB 562 mandates health benefit plans to provide unrestricted coverage for the treatment of autism spectrum disorder without age-based limitations. It removes the prior cap on coverage for applied behavior analysis and applies to plans delivered or renewed on or after January 1, 2026. The Act takes effect on September 1, 2025.
