SB 635 provides for supplemental pay to members of the Texas military forces who experience economic hardship as a result of being called to active military duty. The amount of supplemental pay is limited to the lesser of the economic hardship incurred or the difference between their lost civilian income and military compensation. A designated account is established for this purpose, subject to available funding.
