SB 676 modifies the award of good conduct time for inmates by specifying that it can only be earned if the inmate participates in educational, vocational, agricultural, work, or treatment programs, or regularly attends religious services or studies. This provision applies to all inmates confined in Texas Department of Criminal Justice facilities as of the effective date.
