SB 91 creates a cause of action against employers who require employees to receive vaccinations, allowing employees or their representatives to sue for damages resulting from adverse health events caused by the vaccine mandate. Employers are exempt from liability if they accept exemptions for reasons of conscience, including religious beliefs, or for medical contraindications supported by a physician’s opinion. Prevailing claimants may be awarded attorney’s fees and court costs.
