Texas Policy Research President Jeramy Kitchen will speak at the Irving Republican Women’s September meeting on Monday, September 14, 2026, in Irving.

Kitchen will present “Texas at the Data Center Crossroads,” examining the rapid growth of data centers and artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure across Texas and the increasingly consequential policy debates surrounding that growth. The presentation will explore the benefits and challenges of data center development, including electricity demand, grid reliability, infrastructure costs, private property rights, economic development incentives, and the appropriate role of state and local government.

Check-in begins at 6:30 p.m., with the program beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Valley Centre in Irving.
