Texas Policy Research President Jeramy Kitchen will speak to the Bryan/College Station TEA Party on Thursday, August 20, 2026, in College Station.

Kitchen will discuss the Texas Liberty Compact, a policy agenda centered on advancing individual liberty, limited government, free enterprise, personal responsibility, and private property rights. The presentation will focus particularly on the Compact’s call to eliminate property taxes in Texas, including the impact of the current property tax system, potential pathways toward elimination, and the broader fiscal and policy implications of moving Texas away from its reliance on property taxation.
