HB 1294 restricts the use of public funds by political subdivisions for lobbying activities. It prohibits hiring lobbyists or funding organizations primarily representing political subdivisions if they employ lobbyists. Taxpayers may seek injunctive relief and recover attorney’s fees for violations.
