Rep. Carrie Isaac is a Republican member of the Texas House of Representatives, first elected in 2023 to represent District 73, which covers Comal County and a portion of Hays County. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1997 and a Master of Arts in Health Education from Purdue University.

Born May 30, 1970, Rep. Isaac is a fourth-generation Texan. Since 2017 she has served as Executive Director of the Digital Education & Work Initiative of Texas (DEWIT), a nonprofit that connects underemployed people to digital jobs and provides financial assistance to veterans. She has previously worked as public relations coordinator for Helping Hands and as a project manager for Sally Johnson Architect LLC.
For the 89th Legislative Session, Speaker Dustin Burrows appointed Rep. Isaac to the House Committees on Elections and Homeland Security, Public Safety & Veterans’ Affairs, including its Subcommittee on Defense & Veterans’ Affairs. She and her husband Jason — a former Texas state representative for District 45 — live in Hays County with their two sons, Aidan and Landon.
